Nizamabad MLC Bypoll Comes To An End
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Oct 2020 2:00 PM GMTThe Nizamabad Local Bodies Constituency bye-election polling came to an end, that was held in 50 centres, including 28 centers in Nizamabad and 22 centers in Kamareddy district.
There was a 100 percent polling percent with all the 824 voters exercising their voting right across the polling booths.
The polling was commenced at 10 am and came to an end at 5 pm. The election results will be announced on the 12th of October.
The polling activities were observed by Nizamabad district collector Narayana Reddy and Kamareddy district collector Dr. Sharath who were posted as the Election Returning Officers.
COVID-19 guidelines were strictly followed during the polling process. Voters with facemask and normal temperature were allowed to cast their votes.
Former MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha, V Subash Reddy(Congress), and P Laxminarayana(BJP) contested the elections.
