Telangana Trust Bhavan Is A Ghost Building Now

During this time five years ago, the building opposite the KBR park was a beehive of activity with hundreds of yellow-stole clad youths jetting in and out of it. Swank cars created a traffic hold up of sorts when they parked on the side of the road. Even six months ago, the imposing building was where key meetings were held and important leaders flocked in. But, today, it wears a deserted look. Not even a soul goes into the building. There are no visiters and no callers whatsoever. The main gates remain closed as if a tragedy befell on it.
Yes. We are talking about the famed NTR trust bhavan. There are no visitors now. There are no leaders knocking at the doors. Today, the Telangana TDP is all but dead. It is not contesting the elections in Telangana. So, there is no activity at the Bhavan. All the leaders who matter are in Andhra Pradesh, busy campaigning for Chandrababu Naidu. There is no one in Telangana. In Khammam, however, the party is backing Congress candidate Renuka Chowdary, someone who deserted the TDP for Congress. Besides that the Telangana TDP is as good as dead. When the party itself is moribund, can one expect the NTR trust bhavan to flourish?
