Delhi-Mumbai Flight Ticket costs over Rs 1 lakh?

In reality, None of the Airlines were selling each air ticket for Rs 1 lakh or more in this particular route.
As many as 300 flights got cancelled due to the smog in Delhi in just two days. Few Passengers of these flights were lucky enough to travel in other flights. Very limited number of seats were available for booking in most of the flights in Delhi-Mumbai route on Wednesday and Thursday.
The situation in Delhi led to the escalation of ticket prices. While each ticket in Delhi-Mumbai route costed Rs 24,000 to 29,000 for the flights for Wednesday, The price have gone up to Rs 45,000 to 60,000 on Friday. Whereas, Budget Airlines have sold each ticket for Rs 7,000 to 10,000 on the same days.
Closure of runway at Delhi Airport & air pollution level in NCR led to the price hike. While Ticket Sales plummented 40 percent, Average ticket size increased by 19 percent.
