No bail for Revanth Reddy till Friday
By: Tupaki Desk | 2 Jun 2015 6:40 AM GMTTelangana TDP MLA Revanth Reddy was arrested by ACB Sleuths on Sunday and sent to 14 Days Remand by the Judge for allegedly trying to bribe a nominated legislator of TRS Party. Soon after he exercised his right to vote in MLC Election held in the Assemby on Monday, Mr.Reddy was taken to Chanchalguda Central Jail by the ACB.
Revanth Reddy's Lawyers have been trying their best to obtain bail for the leader. They even filed a bail petition but the court posted the hearing of the plea to Friday. The Judge also directed ACB to file a counter petition by Friday.
TDP Legislator who was lodged in Chanchalguda jail was allotted Prisoner No 1779. As he expressed threat to his life before the judge, Mr. Reddy was allowed to be in a high-security barrack.
