No Cab services in Hyderabad from Today
By: Tupaki Desk | 31 Dec 2016 11:36 AM ISTDrunkards mostly relied on Cab services to escape drunk drive checks of the Hyderabad Police. They, however, received an unexpected shock on the New Year eve.
Drivers of the leading Cab services such as Uber and Ola launch a five-day strike from December 31st to January 4th in protest against low earnings due to less number of bookings. Too many Cabs are available with just one click and hence the Drivers weren't able to earning good sum.
Despite repeated warnings from Drivers Associations, Managements of the mobile based cabs service didn't bother to pay heed to the demands. Uber and Ola began offering more bookings to their new drivers who borrowed cars on their cab-leasing programme. This eventually led to the decline of earnings for cab owners who purchased vehicles on their own. Despite working for 18 hours a day, They were unable to meet their expenses such as loan instalments and livelihood.
