Cabinet Reshuffle: No Chance for Telugu States!

BJP Leadership ordered Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya to submit their resignations ahead of Cabinet Reshuffle. This gave an indication that some other Leaders from Telugu States might be given an opportunity to serve at the highest level.
As per media reports, Telangana unit BJP General Secretary P Muralidhar Rao from Telangana and either Visakha MP Kambhampati Haribabu or Narsapuram MP Gokaraju Gangaraju might be inducted into the Union Cabinet.
To everyone's surprise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi decided not to offer any berths to Telugu States in this cabinet reshuffle. Instead, He preferred to induct new faces from UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh.
Cabinet Reshuffle is scheduled to take place at 10.30 AM on Sunday. Modi held a breakfast meeting with newly inducted Cabinet Ministers ahead of the swearing-in ceremony.
