No CCTV Footage Of Jaya's Apollo Stay! Why?
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 Sep 2018 5:14 AM GMTFormer Tamil Nadu CM later Jayalalithaa was treated in Chennai's Apollo Hospital from September 22nd, 2016 to December 5th, 2016.
Justice Arumughaswamy Commission sought CCTV Footage of certain areas in the Apollo Hospital during Jayalalitha's stay. However, Apollo Hospitals failed to provide the CCTV Footage of Jayalalithaa's stay to the Commission. Management informed the Commission that CCTV Recordings in the Hospital get overwritten automatically after 30 days.
When sought a clarification on the statement of its chairman Pratap C Reddy that CCTV Cameras were switched off during Jayalalithaa's stay, Apollo Hospitals told that's a completely different issue.
A Video of Jayalalithaa shot when she was hospitalized was released by Jayalalithaa's nephew Dinakaran in the past. Whereas, Apollo Hospitals didn't even focus on having strong video evidence to clear the doubts of the public regarding Amma's death.
