Smriti Irani as Gujarat CM? No Chance!

Speculations are abuzz that Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani could be the next Chief Minister of Gujarat. Whereas, Non-Local Tag may ruin her chances.
Actually, Smriti Irani isn't a Gujarati. She was neither born or brought up in this state. Be it her birth, brought up, studies and tv assignments, Everything happened in Mumbai itself. While her Father is a Punjabi, Mother is an Bengali. Even her husband doesn't hail from Gujarat. He is a parsi from Delhi.
Will People of Gujarat accept a Non-Local as their Chief Minister? Is BJP ready to take such a risk? Has Smriti Irani done any exceptional work as Union Minister so far? She was made Minister by Modi for putting up a spirited fight against Rahul Gandhi in Amethi during 2014 Lok Sabha Polls. Whereas, She was shifted from crucial HRD Ministry to Textiles Ministry within three years.
Political Analysts say, Smriti Irani hardly have any chance of becoming of CM of Gujarat that too when BJP managed to get just 99 seats. BJP Leadership will prefer a much stronger leader to rule the state.
