No Entry For Devotees In Tirupati

Following the increasing number of cases in India, TTD has held a crucial meeting and the outcome of the meeting is that the temple will stop all the Darshans and the devotees will not be allowed to enter the holy shrine.
Following the new decision, the pilgrims were asked to vacate the shrine by 6 p.m. The cancellation of all the Drashans and the Tirumala – Alipiri ghat which leads to the holy shrine will also be shut down.
Though there is no information on when the holy shrine will be reopened again and the holy rituals will be performed daily even though the devotees were not allowed to enter the temple.
Once the situation gets normal the authorities will take a call on this. This is the first time devotees were not allowed to enter the holy shrine in the history of the temple.
Earlier, Shirdi temple has also not allowed the devotees to enter the temple in the wake of the deadly COVID-19. Now the Tirupati temple has also asked the pilgrims to vacate the shrine.
