No LPG Subsidy for Rs 10 lakh Earners
By: Tupaki Desk | 15 Nov 2015 6:44 AM GMTUnion Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu announced Centre is mulling on withdrawing LPG Subsidy for consumers with an annual income of Rs 10 lakh per annum or above. The move was intended to benefit more poor people across the country.
Venkaiah Naidu questions why do Consumers earning more than Rs 10 lakh per year need subsidy. He is also against LPG Subsidy for Ministers and other Public Representatives in power.
The Minister declares around 30 lakh people in the country have voluntarily given up LPG Subsidy. He also feels cancellation of illegal connections will benefit the poor.
Responding on the debate on intolerance, Mr.Naidu commented the whole thing was political opponents have been operating from the back end just because they were unable to tolerate NDA's rise to power. He announces India is the most tolerant Nation in the World.
