Government decided to allocate special camera to all the Police Officers ranging from SI to ACP. This camera will record all the actions performed by that Police in his duty.
This camera will get linked to the server and the live streaming will go on. If Police Officials asks for any bribes or any money, people can complain directly to the main department. They will check the video footage and will take necessary action on the concerned Police Officer.
This is definitely a good initiative from the government as corruption is raising to peak level in India. More over, surveys are saying that Police department too holds respectable position in corruption ratings. Hence, starting this kind of initiative through Police department is a good initiative from governmentÂ’s side.
