No More Traffic Issues, Flyover Connecting Balanagar X Roads And Narsapur X Road Opened
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 July 2021 1:10 PM ISTThe pearl city Hyderabad, the state capital, which has been going through an overall development under the leadership of Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao has welcomed a massive flyover that will bring down the traffic difficulties of the commuters.
Telangana IT Minister KTR has inaugurated the six-lane Balanagar flyover that connects Balanagar X Roads and Narsapur X Road. The 1.3 km long flyover will offer hassle-free travel for the commuters in Balanagar, one of the busiest junctions in the city.
While inaugurating the flyover, instead of him cutting the ribbon, KTR made a worker named Shivamma, a native of Wanaparthy to cut the ribbon. KTR said, this is a token of honoring the workers, who were part of the flyover.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said, the flyover will be named after Babu Jagjivan Ram, the former Defence Minister, and paid tributes to him.TRS working president KTR also spoke about the other projects in the city.
KTR said, the infrastructure facilities were being developed to address the traffic issues and under the SRDP, infra works that worth Rs 1,000 crore are being carried out in Kukatpally alone.
The flyover at Balanagar was constructed with a budget of Rs 387 crore, as part of the Strategic Road Development Plan of the Hyderabad civic body Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
KTR took to microblogging site Twitter to release the night look pictures of the Balanagar flyover. The nighttime pictures of the flyover look absolutely stunning.
