No one can stop Vizag from becoming capital: Tammineni
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Jan 2020 3:38 PM ISTThe capital row in Andhra Pradesh has resulted in a war of words between AP Speaker Tammineni Sitaram and former CM, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.
Responding to the comments made by Naidu that he is ready to go to jail to support the protests observed by farmers of Amaravati, Tammineni said even though Naidu goes to Tihar Jail executive capital will be in Vishakapatnam. He said that he will abide by the decision taken by CM Jagan.
Tammineni laid the foundation stone for the construction of the village secretariat building in Ponduru. Talking at the event, he said that no one can stop Vishakapatnam from becoming the executive capital. He also said that Naidu is backing Amaravati for realtors, not for farmers.
The speaker has come down severely on Naidu on the capital issue and said with having three capitals entire state will get developed and this will shatter the future of TDP in the state and that's why Naidu is batting for Amaravati.
He made it clear that Amaravati will be the capital of the city and as an additional two more cities will be added as capitals for the overall development of the state.
