Tamil Nadu Forest Minister Dindigul C Sreenivasan sought people to forgive him for lying about the health condition of former CM late Jayalalithaa when she was hospitalized.
Sreenivasan admits not even Ministers were allowed to see Jayalalithaa when she was in Apollo Hospital, instead they were forced lie to the public. 'We might have told media that Amma had idlis, she is fine and meeting people. But, The truth is that none of us actually saw her at least once,' he told, targeting VK Sasikala Natarajan.
The Forest Minister disclosed it's not just then CM O Panneerselvam, even BJP chief Amit Shah & Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi weren't allowed to meet Jayalalithaa in the hospital.
In August this year, Tamil Nadu Government ordered for a probe into the death of Jayalalithaa. Even TTV Dhinakaran welcomed the Judicial Inquiry which he expects to sanction a clean chit to Sasikala. He told even Sasikala wasn't allowed to meet Amma during her last few days due to the possibility of infection.
