No One Wants This Ex-Minister
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 Oct 2020 3:26 AM GMTHe was a minister in the TDP government. But, he was so thoroughly unpopular in his own constituency that the party leaders did not want him to contest again. The opposition was so much that he had to be shifted to another constituency. But, the same leader is now back to the same constituency that shunted him out.
This is the story of the former minister KS Jawahar. He represented Kovvur in West Godavari district. After becoming the minister, he encouraged groupism and promoted his supporters alone. The others were not preferred at all. So, a strong section of the party opposed him ahead of the 2019 elections. So, Chandrababu moved him to Tiruvuru assembly constituency in Krishna district But, he lost the election in the YS Jagan Tsunami.
But now, Jawahar has again been appointed as the Rajahmundry Lok Sabha constituency incharge. Kovvur, though part of the West Godavari, is included in the Rajahmundry Lok Sabha constituency. So, in a way, Jawahar is back at the help of affairs in Kovvur. So, several TDP workers and leaders have given a go by to the massive rally organized to welcome Jawahar the other day. They have also reportedly told Chandrababu Naidu that it would be difficult for them to work with Jawahar and wanted him to be replaced.
Will Chandrababu pay heed to the party workers or will have stay firm on Jawahar? Let’s wait and watch!!
