No Place for AP & T at Republic Day parade

For the first time, A Tableau of the Election Commission will be part of Republic Day parade. It depicts a huge population in the country exercising their right to vote.
France President Francois Hollande is the guest of honour at 2016 Republic Day celebrations. A contingent of France Army which consists of 10p French army personnel and 36 band members will march on the 67th Republic Day. They will be standing behind Param Veer Chakra, Ashok Chakra and Mahavir Chakra winners.
A Dog contingent consisting of a Indian army's Labradors and German Shepherds will be marching at Republic Day parade after 26 years.
As many as 23 Tableaux will participate in the 2016 Republic Day parade.This Year, Tableaus of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh and Haryana willn't be part of parade.
