By: Tupaki Desk | 30 March 2015 6:18 AM GMTSurprisingly, Not a single Indian player found a place in ICC's World Cup XI inspite of finishing on top in Pool B table and this is something very rare to happen. Another interesting factor is that New Zealand which stood as runner-up dominated the chart instead of the World Champions Australia.
ICC's World Cup XI have 5 New Zealanders with Brendon McCullum as Captain, Corey Anderson, Trent Boult, Martin Guptill and Daniel Vettori. 3 Australians Glenn Maxwell, Steven Smith and Mitchell Starc, 2 South Africans AB de Villiers and Morne Morkel, 1 Sri Lankan Kumar Sangakkara have found a place in the list. Zimbabwe's Brendon Taylor who scored 433 runs in 6 matches was named as 12th Man in the sqaud.
