Neither Transfer nor Bail for Sasikala Natarajan

AIADMK General Secretary Sasikala Natarajan was lodged in Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Bengaluru after being convicted in Rs 66.65 crore disproportionate assets case. Lawyers of Chinnamma moved a petition seeking transfer of her from Bangalore Jail to Chennai's Puzhal Central Prison. Even AIADMK Sources confirmed the media reports saying everything is being planned as per the provision under law.
Karnataka Government's Counsel Acharya on Thursday told Supreme Court's nod is a must for transfer of Sasikala Natarajan to the jail in Chennai. He, however, made it clear Karnataka Government will certainly oppose if Sasikala moves Supreme Court seeking the transfer. 'First of all, Sasikala need to answer the queries of SC such as - Why is she seeking transfer? What problems did she face here?,' he said.
Mr.Acharya told Sasikala Natarajan won't even be granted bail and she has to serve the 4 years of jail term in Parappana Agrahara Jail itself.
