No role for Devi Sri Prasad in Zanjeer
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 Aug 2013 1:30 PM GMTRumors were ripe about Devi Sri Prasad's contribution for Ram Charan's Bollywood film 'Zanjeer'. The reports in circulation say the Tollywood sensation has worked for the songs of the Telugu version 'Toofan'.
Director Apoorva Lakhia confirmed DSP isn't part of either 'Zanjeer' or 'Toofan' and the song 'Mumbai Ke Hero' has been composed by Meet Bros Anjjan Chirantan Bhatt.
Music launch of the film is planned for August 20th at Shilpa Kala Vedhika in Hyderabad. Director promised to unveil new look and promos on that day to play off the promotions for the Telugu version.
Ram Charan plays Inspector Vijay, Priyanka Chopra appears as Maya, Sanjay Dutt/Srihari gets into the shoes of Sherkhan, Prakash Raj plays Teja and Mahie Gill oozes glamous as Mona Darling. We have seem all of these characters in the original and the only new inclusion in the remake is Atul Kulkarni's role which is inspired from a real life journalist.
