Controversies Continue To Surrounder Around RGV's Disha Encounter

The Controversies continue to surround around director Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming venture 'Disha Encounter'. The controversies even raise doubts about the film's release.
Earlier in October this year, the Disha case victim's father knocked on the doors of the Telangana High Court to seek directives to ban 'Disha Encounter movie from getting released.
While the case is still pending in the High Court, the family members of the culprits in the Disha incident moved the Telangana High Court to ban the film.
The lawyer who appeared before the High Court on the behalf of convicts' families told the court that they have been facing humiliation since the tragic incident took place. Making a movie on the culprits will increase problems for their kin.
The bench, which heard the petition served Show cause notice to the filmmaker and directed him to come up with an explanation on making a film on the gang-rape and murder incident. The High Court adjourned the next hearing of the case for two weeks.
RGV's films creating controversies are not a new thing. Since the filmmaker started to pick biopics and real incidents as his subjects, the controversies continued to trouble him.
On the work front, RGV has one more flick in the pipeline. He has almost completed 'Murder' which is based on the honor killing case of Pranay that surfaced in Miryalaguda.
