Promises offered by few Parties in Telangana ahead of the Assembly Polls have been making people wonder if they are treating them as fools. Particularly, Poll Promises of Telangana BJP are raising many eye-brows in the recent past.
Few days ago, BJP announced House Rental Allowance of Rs 5,000 per Month. The National Party, however, didn't clarify how it would identify the beneficiaries and what's the strategy for it's implementation.
And now, Telangana BJP has come up with an unbelievable promise - Scrapping Value Added Tax (VAT) completely on Petrol and Diesel. TRS Government levied 32 percent tax on Petrol and 27 percent tax on diesel.
T-BJP informs about its plans to limit the timings of liquor shops to 10 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday. Complete shut down is being proposed on Saturdays and Sundays.
If Telangana BJP Leaders are really concerned about the burden on Common Man, First of all they should convince PM Narendra Modi to remove tax on Fuel. Only then, People will be able to trust their poll promises.
No Government could survive for longer if they fail to treat Excise Duty as a Revenue-Generating Entity. That's a hard reality any political party need to accept.
