No Place for Kohli in McCullum's All Time XI

Former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum has announced his choice of All Time Playing XI. What surprised many is the fact that neither Kohli nor Dhoni was included. Even AB de Villiers wasn't made a part of the Team.
McCullum choose Sachin Tendulkar and Chris Gayle as openers. Ricky Ponting, Brian Lara, Viv Richards and Jacques Kallis at 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th spots. Adam Gilchrist will be the wicketkeeper.
In the Bowling department, Shane Warne, Mitchell Johnson, Trent Boult and Tim Southee were included.
Viv Richards, one of the all-time greats, will be the Captain of the team.
Seems like, McCullum considered only retired cricketers while picking the best playing XI. After all, Who wouldn't want to have a player like Kohli in the team?
