No Way Concerned about seizure of tonsure heard at Mizoram-Myanmar border, says TTD

The incident of seizure of tonsured hair by Assam Rifles at the Mizoram â Myanmar border has created a sensation. As many as 120 bags of tonsured hair were seized at the border that worth around 2 crore.
With several sections of people holding the Andhra Pradesh government led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) had broken its silence and reacted to the issue finally.
Responding to the issue, the TTD said it is in no way concerned with the incident. The tonsured hair donated by the devotees will be e-auctioned and the TTD will not look into the matters like whether the bidders participating in the e-auction have permits to export the tonsured hairs, TTD said.
After the bidder wins the e-auction, the tonsured hair will be handed-over to the concerned bidder. Once the auction is completed and the stick is handed over, the TTD will not interfere in other issues, TTD maintained.
Taking about the seizure of stock of tonsured hair, TTD said, if the officials declare the bidders as fraudsters, then these companies will be placed under the blacklist, which makes these companies unable to take part in the further e-auction.
