No Worries even if TDP ends Alliance: Venkaiah
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 Sep 2016 11:11 AM GMTUnion Minister M Venkaiah Naidu cautioned people of AP not to believe the words of those leaders who claims every place in the state will become Hyderabad if granted Special Category Status. 'The whole development took place in Hyderabad alone for four decades only because of the rulers. In the recent Investment Summit held in AP, Industrialists came forward to invest Rs 4.25 lakh crore in AP. None of them demanded Special Status to invest. Usually, Investors would look into aspects like Power, Transportation, Centre-State Coordination & Necessary Permissions. For the financial year 2015-16, AP stood as No.1 in the country in terms of attracting investments,' he said.
Venkaiah Naidu told the sole intention of Opposition Parties demanding TDP to withdraw support to NDA is to dethrone Chandrababu Naidu and Narendra Modi. 'Even if TDP ends alliance, Narendra Modi will remain as PM till 2019. Surveys predict he would be elected as PM for the second term as well. Ending alliance would only make it a headline news for three days. Without Centre's support, AP can't progress,' opines the Minister.
The Union Minister told Chandrababu Naidu is an efficient leader and hence the responsibility to complete the Polavaram project was given to him. 'Its ridiculous to burn our effigies even though so much hard work has been done,' complains Naidu.
