Noble Gesture Of Tata Steel Towards Its Employees, Who Loses Lives To Covid Wins Heart!

In a condemnable gesture, Tata Steel has come forward to lend a helping hand to the kin of its employees, who lost their loved ones to the deadly Covid. The company announced that the families of employees who died of Covid would continue to receive salaries till the employees would reach 60 years of age.
Taking to Twitter, Tata Steel said, taking the path of Agility with care, the company has decided to extend the social security scheme to the kin of Tata employees, who lost their lives to the deadly virus.
"#TataSteel has taken the path of #AgilityWithCare by extending social security schemes to the family members of the employees affected by #COVID19. While we do our bit, we urge everyone to help others around them in any capacity possible to get through these tough times," the tweet reads.
"Tata Steel's best-in-class social security schemes will help ensure an honourable standard of living for their families, whereby the family will get the last drawn salary till 60 years of age of the deceased employee/nominee," the company said in a statement.
Tata Steel had also pledged to take care of the education of the children of frontline employees, who catch the virus on duty and succumb to it.
Soon after the announcement, social media lauded the company for coming forward to lend a helping hand towards the families of the employees during the testing times.
