By: Tupaki Desk | 11 Jun 2022 1:25 PM GMTThe financial situation of Andhra Pradesh needs no introduction. The state government took borrowings more than the prescribed limits. A ruling party MP once requested the union government to help the state as it was not in a position to pay the salaries of the employees.
The situation reached a point where people who gave their places on rent to set up Seretarits are locking the places with no payments. Many secretariats faced the same and the employees working there went home with no option left other than that. A recent incident had shed light on the financial situation yet again.
Media reports say that one Mahaboob Basha who hails from Kurnnol's Orvakallu is into contract work and he takes up construction work as a partnership. Going by the same, he and his partners got the tenders for construction works of government offices and buildings.
He borrowed money from others to finish the work hoping that he can clear his debts once the government clears the bill. Unfortunately, the government did not clear his bills, and the money he took as a loan kept on increasing with growing interest. People who gave him money started pressuring him.
Looking at the problems, the victim told his family members that he needs a break and will go out of town. After spending a couple of days at relatives' place, he reportedly went to his agricultural farm and consumed pesticides.
