Election Commissioner Bhanwar Lal addressed the media after the end of deadline for campaigning in poll-bound Nandyal Assembly Constituency.

Bhanwar Lal: 'We have seized Rs 16 lakh in Nandyal so far. Candidates and Parties must not influence voters anymore. Non-Locals should leave Nandyal by 6 PM on Monday. Central Forces have been deployed for free and fair election. Even revealing to which party a person has voted is unacceptable. Liquor Shops will be closed till the end of polling. About 71 sensitive and 144 very sensitive areas were identified. We have been monitoring 16 News Channels, WhatsApp and Social Media updates. Any violations will be dealt strictly'.

Responding on the complaint filed against Balakrishna by YCP, Mr. Lal said: 'Parties have the right to complain even against Me. We have sought a report on the allegations against Balakrishna'.

Altogether, There are 2 lakh 18 thousand voters in Nandyal Constituency. 255 Polling Booths have been established. Polling happens from 7 AM to 5 PM on August 23rd.
