Not 11, 14 MLAs Resigned..Crisis In Karnataka!
X
As many as 14 Congress and JD (S) MLAs submitted their resignations to Karnataka Governor expressing their dissatisfaction over the HD Kumaraswamy-led Government. This development poses a huge threat to the ruling Coalition Government as accepting the resignation leads to Mid-Term Polls.

MLAs who resigned include Mahesh Kumthalli (Congress), ST Somashekar (Congress), Muniratna (Congress), Pratap Gowda (Congress), Byrathi Basavaraj (Congress), BC Patil (Congress), Ramesh Jarkiholi (Congress), Shivaram Hebbar (Congress), H Vishwanath (JDS), Narayan Gowda (JDS) and Gopalia (JDS).

Three out of 14 MLAs offered to withdraw their resignations if Siddaramaiah becomes the Chief Minister of Karnataka in place of Kumaraswamy. Attempts made by JD (S) and Congress Leaderships to make their MLAs withdraw resignations hasn't yielded results. BJP, on the other hand, denied having any plans to end the Coalition Government.

Former Jammu & Kashmi CM Omar Abdullah opined another Non-BJP Government is on the verge of collapse and it's very much expected.

A lot depends on how BJP uses this crisis in Karnataka according to its convenience. Expect Mid-Term Polls in Karnataka...Eventually, The Saffron Party will get benefitted from it.
