Well, the power crisis is not just the case only with Andhra Pradesh, several other states are also going through the same. Including Andhra Pradesh, as many as a dozen states are facing a power crisis and as a result, households and industries are facing power cysts on a timely basis.

As per the information, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Bihar, Union Territory of J&K, Gujarat are dealing with the power crisis. Even the developed states like Gujarat and Maharashtra facing power crises is a big concern now.

Jharkhand is having a bigger issue with the power crisis. Forget about common people, even celebrities are facing issues with the power cuts. Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's wife Sakshi tok to social media to question the power crisis. She asked why there has been a power crisis in the state and what the authorities are doing.

The power crisis is causing issues to a level that the respective governments are officially announcing power holidays for the industries and the households are facing power cysts for long hours. The shortage of coal supply is said to be the key issue behind the power crisis.

Getting deeper into the issue, the thermal plants contribute the major share of the power supply. There is a big shortage in coal supply and on top of this, the heatwave had arrived in the country a bit early than expected.

Despite all these, the demand had peaked and unable to match the demand, the states are imposing power cuts for the industries and households as well. Power cuts for the industries in turn result in leaving a toll on the economy. The production of these firms is seeing a cut and the employees are also facing a salary cut. On average, the states are experiencing two to four hours of power cuts.
