Bengal leads in NOTA Votes among 5 States

As per the date of EC, About 1.5% (8,31,845) were in NOTA out of the total voted polled in West Bengal. Interestingly, NOTA stood as the 4th contender in several constituencies in the state after TMC, Left-Congress & BJP. Even Candidates of BSP, CPI, Forward Block, SUCI & Independents received less votes than NOTA in few segments.
In Tamil Nadu, About 5,60,533 voters preferred NOTA. NOTA votes for Assam (1,89,066), Kerala (1,07,239) and Puducherry (13,240).
In terms of percentage, Puducherry (1.7%) leads with highest number of NOTA votes.
