Remember Ashwatthama Reddy? In case you forgot, he was the leader who spearheaded the 50-day-long RTC strike. Ever since the RTC strike ended in a massive failure, Reddy is passing through tough times. He is on a long leave as he has been asked to work like an ordinary employee of the RTC.

But, the latest news is that the RTC management has served a notice on him for his continuous absence from duties. Ever since the RTC strike's failure, he is on a long leave. On Thursday, showcause notices were pasted on the notice boards of the offices of the RTC asking him to explain his absence from duties. However, Reddy alleged that the government was adopting a vindictive attitude towards him. He said his leave application was rejected without any valid reason.
