NRI donations pour in for Jana Sena's foundation day

The Jana Sena has begun preparing for the party's foundation day celebrations in a big way. It has launched a massive fund-raising campaign across the globe. It has sought fund support for the NRIs favourable to the party. A statement to this effect was already issued by party's political affairs committee chairperson and former speaker Nadendla Manohar.
The foundation day would be celebrated with a massive public meeting in Ippatam village under the Mangalagiri assembly constituency in Guntur district. The Jana Sena has formed special committees to make fool-proof arrangements for the programme. Jana Sena sources say that the response of the NRIs is quite encouraging. Srinivasulu, an NRI, sent Rs 1 lakh for the meeting. The Jana Sena tweeted its appreciation of the NRI's contribution.
Nadendla Manohar said that efforts were on to make it a memorable programme. He said that this would be a one-of-a-kind meeting.
