Spotted: NTR statue for Godavari Pushkaralu

AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has decided to go ahead and install a statue of NTR at the Pushkar Ghat of Godavari river in Rajahmundry despite protests. As announced earlier Govt installed a special statue of NTR as Krishna i.e. Lord Krishna’s character played by NTR in several of mythological Telugu films. NTR's 14 feet statue was erected between havelock bridge and railway bridge in Rajahmundry.
Meanwhile heavy traffic jams were witnessed all over Rajahmundry. The road leading from Kovvur to Rajahmundry saw 10-km-long traffic hold up. Other side the tragedy due to stampede at the Rajahmundry pushkar ghat has shocked the entire nation. With the death toll rising to 29 already the city bore a sulken look already.
