Ravi Jaiswal, an office boy living in the slums of Ganesh Deval Nagar in Bhayander of Mumbai got the shock of his life when he received a notice from Income Tax department asking for payment of dues to the tune of over Rs 5.4 crore.

Immediately, Ravi Jaiswal approached Thani SP Mahesh Patil. A probe was ordered into the issue after examining the financial position of the office assistant.

In 2008, Ravi Jaiswal joined a company run by Chartered Accountant Rajesh Agrawal. It was then he was asked to submit PAN and Aadhaar Cards for opening bank account. However, He was paid salary only in cash. In 2012, Ravi shifted to an another company. The probe conducted by cops revealed that as many as four fake companies (Gem Redtech, Shayansh Corporation, Purvi Realty and State Ford Textiles) were run using the Office Boy's PAN and Aadhaar details.

Bhayander Police arrested Rajesh Agrawal, his business partner Rajeev Gupta and two employees in connection with the case. Two more people, Santosh Singh and Juglesh Gupta were also taken into custody for involvement in the financial crime.
