Officials Unearth Rs 43 Crore Scam In Telugu Academy

The fresh development in the Academy had created a sensation.
According to the media reports, the officials at the Telugu Academy have found out that the amount worth Rs 43 crore that was deposited with the Union Bank went missing. The issue came to light while looking at the records of the financial transactions of the Academy.
Without wasting any time, the officials had lodged a complaint with the cops and the police had swung into action to nab the conspirator behind the big scam. The investigation is said to be going on in direction to see if the bank officials and the Academy members have any role to play.
Without taking any names, the media reports quoted police officials as saying that there are quizzing a few officials of the Telugu Academy for the reason that without the authorisation of the Telugu Academy officials.
On the other hand, the government had constituted a committee that has Intermediate Education Commissioner Umar Jaleel, Intermediate Education Accounts Officer Ram Babu, College Education Joint Director Yadagiri. The committee that was formed to look into the irregularities was advised to file a detailed report on the issue on October 2nd. Now all the eyes are on the report to know what the committee will find out.
The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana officials are playing a blame game in the issue and accusing each other over their alleged role in the multi-crore scam.
The irregularities were pointed out by the officials while dividing the assets and liabilities of Telugu Academy between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The officials are working on this going by the orders issued by the Supreme Court earlier.

The Telugu Academy is one of the common assets that will be divided by the officials.
