Ola starts Boat Service in water-logged Chennai

Ola which is a popular Taxi operator is now using the severe flood situation in Tamil Nadu to launch Boat Service. Yes, You read it right!
Ola is operating boats in water-logged areas of Chennai to rescue the people stranded and shift them to a safe location. The boat service will continue for the next 3 days and may also get extended depending upon the situation.
The company issued an official statement - "Ola deployed boats in waterlogged and partially submerged areas on the basis of information from the Fire and Rescue department".
All the boats were manned by professional rowers & fishermen. In addition, Drinking water was provided to the people free-of-cost. There will be two rowers on each boat and early 9 people can be carried per trip. Even umbrellas were carried in the boats for using them whenever there was a downpour.
