One in every two Indian-Americans encountered discrimination in 2020: A survey!

Despite being the second-largest ethnic group in the United States, Indian-Americans face discrimination, a recent survey has stated.
The survey was conducted by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in collaboration with the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of the famous Johns Hopkins University and the University of Pennsylvania on the discrimination they face in America.
The report was titled 'Social Realities of Indian Americans: Results from the 2020 Indian American Attitudes Survey'. The survey was conducted online between September 1-20 last year and 1,200 Indian-American residing in the United States took part in the survey.
The outcome of the survey is that, on regular basis, Indian-Americans experience discrimination. Last year, one in every two Indian Americans reported discrimination on their skin colour.
What's even more surprising is that even the Indian-Americans born in the US also face discrimination. The respondents have stated that religion has a big role in Indian-Americans lives.
The survey has also found out that, around half of the population of the Indian-Americans that belong to the Hindu religion identify with their caste. Compared to US-born Indian Americans, the respondents born in India embrace their respective case identities more.
