Demand To Have Non-Gandhi Congress Chief Gets Momentum
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Aug 2020 11:10 AM GMTThe demand to have a non-Gandhi family member as Congress chief gets momentum with Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra supporting the demand.
Earlier, Former Congress President, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Thiruvanantapur Congress MP Sashi Tharoor supported the decision to have non-Gandhi party President.
Post the Century odd old Congress Party lost the 2019 General elections cheaply, Rahul Gandhi resigned to party President's post as the leader took the moral responsibility of the party's loss.
The efforts made by the Congress Working Committee (CWC) leaders went in vain with Rahul Gandhi being firm on his decision to take the party President post.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra added that she doesn't have any issues to work under non-Gandhi party chief and whatever post the chief gives she will take it up even its post of an in-charge of a region.
Priyanka Gandhi was very honest with her opinion and agreed to the fact that Congress lost the elections to Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) as the party was not speed enough to cope up with the new media.
