One Roja and two Vanis in Nagari arena?

Even as rumours of yesteryear heartthrob and glam girl Vani Vishwanath pitting herself against Nagari MLA RK Roja in the next assembly elections are doing rounds, another Vani is all set to join the fray. Actress and TDP spokesperson Divya Vani too is likely to enter into the electoral fray from Nagari assembly constituency.
While the buzz is that Vani Vishwanath would contest on the Jana Sena ticket, Divya Vani would contest on the TDP ticket. Sources said that the Jana Sena has already extended an invitation to Vani Vishwanath to contest on its ticket from Nagari and take on Roja. Meanwhile actress Divya Vani is likely to be pitted on behalf of the TDP.
Divya Vani has joined the TDP in 2019 and has been appointed as the party's official spokesperson. Divya Vani on her part did not disappoint the TDP boss. She had taken on the might of YS Jagan government with admirable aplomb. Divya Vani, born Usha Rani hails from Tenali. She was born a Hindu but later became a Christian and has acted in several films including Bapu's Pelli Pustakam.
Vani Vishwanath is a Malayali and has acted in over 100 films She had joined the TDP in 2017, but has become inactive of late. There is a demand from the Jana Sena that she contest on the party ticket from Nagari. In fact, she wanted to contest from Nagari in 2014 and 2019, but could not do so due to various reasons.
Roja is a two-time MLA from Nagari and is touted to become a minister in the latest cabinet reshuffle. Though a firebrand and popular, she is facing problems from Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy in Chittoor. So, it would be interesting to see how the fight between Roja and the two Vanis takes place in Nagari.
