Only change which created disaster for politicians
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Feb 2014 5:52 AM GMTThere is a difference between 2009 elections and 2014 elections. If we clearly probe into this issue, we can say that the reach of social networking sites increased exponentially in the last 5 years. In 2009, very few people know about facebook and twitter.
But now, almost all the people in India are well aware of these social networking sites. More over, they are following the comments of fellow Indians apart from their own comments and opinions. In 2009, TV channels and Newspapers are the only means of news transfer for Indians, but now, social media sites dominated the list.
People are sharing their opinions on different parties in social media. If we consider T – agitation, majority of the people in both the regions got triggered seeing the opinions of people in social media. In fact, the pace of social media is too high compared to othe media aspects. This is turning out to be a disaster for politicians. After giving a statement, an average politician is getting response within half a day and this is because of social networking sites. This change may shape India in a better way through 2014 elections.
