Only Online Campaign For This Candidate

This candidate appears to have taken the social media power a wee bit too seriously. This man seems to believe that one need not go around the colonies seeking the voters and holding the public meetings. All one has to do is to campaign through the social media.
Independent candidate from Mumbai Northwest, Aftab Khan wants the election campaign to be paperless. So, he is trying to contact the people through Whatsapp and is sending them what he would do if elected. He sent his 'manifesto' to the netizens online and has asked them to respond online. What more, he is asking them to donate Rs 1 to him online. He says by doing this, he would know exactly as to how many votes he would get in the polling.
Aftab is up against two formidable candidates – Sanjay Nirupam of the Congress party and Gajanan Keerthikar of the Shiv Sena. When asked how he got the idea of online campaign, Aftab said last time when he contested and campaigned vigorously, he got 500 votes. So, his daughter suggested that he should take up online campaign in a big way and get more votes than last time.
