Only Sonia could stop Telangana
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Sep 2013 2:44 PM GMTSenior Congress leader JC Diwakar Reddy expressed the feeling that division of AP isn't going stop at any cost unless AICC chief Sonia Gandhi changes her stand.
"The efforts of Seemandhra leaders to stall the bifurcation have gone in vein. It's really sad that Centre isn't even considering the Rayala Telangana proposal. Seemandhra Congress will be on the losing end if division happens. Only Sonia Gandhi could keep the state united," he told.
JC Diwakar Reddy is the first public representative in Seemandhra region to submit his resignation after the declaration of Telangana in 2009. He is a strong advocate of United AP and appealed to the high Command to create Rayala Telangana if division is inevitable. However, Centre preferred Telangana with 10 districts and Hyderabad as its capital.
