Though many people sacrificed their life during agitation for separate Telangana no onw knows how many exactly. As per the political leaders and experts its estimated as 1000-1500 people end their life
But in a surprise moment Telangana government revealed its estimated figure as per the received application. The number surprised many of them as well.
Recently KCR had cleared a file related to financial assistance to martyrs of Telangana. Considering this all the districts collectors requested to submit respective information. According to sources its confirmed that only 462 application are in consideration for this assistance program. The number given a surprise to every one. It was expected at least 1000 people had sacrificed their life. But the number contradicting the political leaders claims. On the other end TJAC chairman professor Kodandaram expressed his dissatisfaction over the preparation of this list. He said many families are not covered in this list though they sacrificed their life. He urged Telangana government to cover all the families who affected.
TDP leader N. Narisireddy had demanded an explanation from KCR on this issue. He thrashed TRS party for ignoring the martyrs even after having agitated party in ruling. TRS party not yet given any explanation on this report.
