Operation Garuda... this is the mantra that the TDP is chanting ad nauseum these days. For everything, the TDP leaders and spokespersons are invoking Operation Garuda and the TDP backing media is faithfully repeating these chants.
These people said that the Central Government has unveiled Operation Garuda to destabilize the TDP government. They said denial of special status to Andhra Pradesh, CBI and IT raids on the TDP leaders are all part of the Operation Garuda. When Jagan was attacked in the Vizag airport, the TDP first said that it was a plan hatched by Jagan himself to gain sympathy. Later, they said the attack was part of the Operation Garuda.
Now there are demands from various quarters that operation Garuda needs to be probed and those who have been talking about it should be questioned. There are plans to question them and know how they came to know about Operation Garuda and what are their sources. How could a non-entity like Sivaji know about this? Who is tipping him off? Is Operation Garuda real or imaginary? Is it part of the TDP misinformation campaign?
Now the TDP cabal is worried. If the authorities start questioning them, they would stand exposed. If this is proved as fake, then it would be a loss of face for the TDP. There is no way they can prove the existence of Operation Garuda. So, the latest buzz is that the producer-director-screenplay writer of Operation Garuda has scotted off to the US to escape the questioning.
