Opposition Revolts Against Venkaiah Naidu

Due to protests of Opposition MPs, Rajya Sabha was adjourned twice till 3 pm on Tuesday. This development ruined the opportunity to raise questions during the Zero Hour and Question Hour.
Soon after the adjournment, Congress MP Ghulam Nabi Azad questioned what is the use of Parliament if they weren't allowed to speak. He announced Opposition is boycotting in protest against the approach of Rajya Sabha Chairman. Later, A letter has been written to Venkaiah Naidu to express their displeasure on the manner in which proceedings has been conducted.
Venkaiah Naidu explained long adjournments were preferred to promote a sense of responsibility among MPs so that the forced disruptions could be minimized. He opined frequent disruptions have been affecting the image and credibility of the House.
