President Rule In Telangana? Guv Stuns Opposition!
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Sep 2018 5:23 AM GMTLeaders of Opposition Parties (Congress, TDP, TJS, CPI) met Governor ESL Narasimhan to appeal not to continue KCR as Caretaker CM. They stressed the need for President Rule for conducting the elections fairly.
Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged Modi, KCR and Election Commission conspired to ruin the rights of Telanganites. He questioned, 'How could Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma meet EC on behalf of TRS Party? 20 lakh votes in the voter list went missing. Arrest of Jaggareddy is politically motivated. Police have become a pawn in the hands of KCR'.
While Kodandaram complained about the alleged misuse of power by KCR, L Ramana accused TRS of having a secret understanding with the Centre. CPI Leader Chada Venkat Reddy told KCR won't hesitate to book false cases on any number of people to accomplish his mission.
Despite receiving the complaints, Governor appeared to be least bothered about the concerns expressed by the Opposition Parties. He told the Opposition Leaders not to waste his time with such silly complaints.
Kodandaram complained Governor didn't bother to go through the representation and pay heed to what they say. Shocked by the reaction of Governor, Opposition Leaders decided to meet the President to complain about KCR.
