Unseat Modi First, Decide PM Next!!

For the Opposition, defeating Narendra Modi is no easy task. Despite the falling popularity graph, he is still invincible. His core supporters are still with him and are solidly working for him. His party is in power in many states and the band of party workers are straining their every nerve to ensure that he comes back to power again.
But what about the Opposition? It is still disunited and speaking in many voices. Each one wants to become the PM. But, none of the parties can single-handedly defeat the BJP, especially Modi. Though regional parties are strong on their local turf, they need a common platform to defeat Modi.
Though the Congress had initially tried to peddle Rahul Gandhi as its PM candidate, it has now realized that this might become an obstacle in the way of achieving opposition unity. So, it has now changed tack and has said that it will support any non-BJP, non-RSS leader as the PM.
Already, Mamtha Banerjee, Mayavathi, Sarad Pawar and others are vying for the CM post. They are sensing an opportunity. They have decided that their first task is to defeat Modi, then think of the PM post. Even Omar Abdullah too is working actively to bring all anti-BJP forces under one umbrella. He wants to emerge as the pivot of Opposition unity. So, every Opposition leader is feeling that Modi can be defeated, but does not know who will be the next PM. Let’s see how things unfold!!
