Shocking: Ornaments And Idols Looted At Kondagattu Hanuman Temple!
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Feb 2023 12:40 PM GMTTelangana is home to a few historic and iconic temples. The famous Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Kondagattu is one such temple. The temple is staying in the middle of the news at regular intervals due to various reasons. Yet again, the temple hit the headlines. However, a wrong reason made the temple stay in the news.
As per the media reports, a few burglars allegedly looted the historical temple and robbed the ornaments and idols. This is said to have happened during the early hours of Friday. When the temple priest opened the door as usual, he allegedly found that the temple was looted.
He did not make any delay in informing the concerned cops. They reached the spot to find that a few ornaments and a few idols were robbed. A detailed investigation has been launched by the cops to gather new details.
A few reports say that the thieves might have entered the temple from the backside and looted the temple. The Dog Squad and clues teams were called for help. It is said that the temple was closed for investigation. CCTV footage was examined and it allegedly showed three people entering the temple.
Believers are not happy with the unwanted trend of temples becoming the target of burglars. We are seeing incidents of robbers looting temples. Usually, small temples are targeted. But Kondagattu is not a small temple and it is a historic one. Unfortunately, that temple was also allegedly looted.
A few weeks back, Pawan Kalyan visited the temple for special poojas for his Varahi, which is specially designed for his bus yatra in Andhra Pradesh. When he visited the temple, the media gave big coverage to this. Pawan Kalyan fans and Jana Sena supporters gave a big welcome at the temple town.
Recently, Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao aka KCR visited the temple and announced Rs 100 crores to renovate the temple. He also said that he would not take a back step to spend Rs 1000 crores too to renovate. The Chief Minister already renovated the historic Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple by spending a big amount.
