Ou Students Declare War On Kcr Over Jobs
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 Nov 2021 3:44 AM GMTHave troubled times begun for Telangana CM and TRS supremo KCR? After the shock defeat in Huzurabad, there seems to be much more coming for him. It is now clear that the winds are blowing against him and things are going to be more difficult for him in the days to come.
As if Huzurabad humiliation wasn't enough, the students of various universities, led by a joint action committee of 20 students unions in Osmania University are all set to go on a warpath demanding jobs. They want KCR to honour the promises he had made on the employment front. Significantly, KCR did not set foot on the Osmania University even once in the last seven years.
The only time he went to the OU was when the then President Pranab Mukherjee came for the convocation in the university. In view of the intel reports, he was not allowed to make a speech. He had to sit silently and rush back along with the President's convoy. Such is the antipathy to KCR in OU.
The joint action committee has now given a call for a struggle of the unemployed persons. The OU would spearhead the movement and this will be extended to all the universities in the state. The students say that their struggle would be state-wide. This stir could not have come at a more inopportune time for KCR. Already, he is smarting under the impact of the Huzurabad defeat. Let’s wait and see how he faces these new troubles.
