Taking a leaf out of Congress and BJP, the Delhi-based Aam Aadmi Party, which is in power in the national capital, has started its mission to increase its footprint in other states. As a shot in the arm for its efforts, the AAP had dethroned the grand old party Congress and emerged victorious in the recently held Punjab polls.

Not just dethroning the Congress, AAP even crushed the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) and swept the general electrons. The party led by Arvind Kejriwal is riding high on success and the outfit wants to take forward the

As part of the mission expansion, AAP is said to be looking at the states that have favorable conditions for the party to grow. The states zeroed by the party leadership reportedly included Telangana.

Given the strength TRS enjoys in its turf, it is impossible for a new party to prosper here as the opposition parties in Telangana, Congress, and BJP are also very strong. That's why the Delhi party is working on a new strategy for Telangana.

AAP had reportedly prepared a roadmap for Telangana and discussions are going on with many people from various fields. The intention behind these talks is to gather support from various areas.

AAP is an outsider party and the people in the state cannot associate themselves with the Delhi-based party. For this, AAP is said to be busy looking for credible leaders who can be the winning horses for the party and take the party towards victory.

Without no local and popular faces, AAP cannot survive in the state, and getting such faces is the need of the hour for the party. To get that momentum, the party is said to be holding talks with Kodandaram. Reports also say that there are high chances that Kodandaram might merge his party in APP. It was earlier reported that Kejriwal might visit Telangana to hold a Padayatra. If he comes here, then we might get some clarity on AAP focusing on Telangana..
